Lilith Fair Tickets

Lilith Fair is a concert tour and traveling music festival that was founded in 1997 by Canadian musician Sarah McLachlan. In 1996, she was upset that most concert promoters and radio stations refused to feature two female musicians in a row, so she booked a tour for herself and Paula Cole and went on the road. At least one of their shows during the 1996 tour went by the name "Lilith Fair" and included performances by McLachlan, Cole, Lisa Loeb, and Michelle McAdorey. The next year, the Lilith Fair tour was on, taking Lilith from the medieval Jewish legend that Lilith was Adam's first wife. During its first official year on tour, Lilith Fair made $16 million gross, making it the 16^th highest grossing concert tour for 1997. Now after an 11 year break, Lilith Fair is gearing up to tour again with many of the artists that had previously played, along with some newcomers.
