Jason Aldean is an American country music singer. He made his first public appearance as a country music singer at age 14 and would soon follow as a regular in local talent contests. After graduating from high school, he began pursuing a music career on a full-time basis. He had several years early on where several recording deals fell through and would eventually get a songwriting contract.

With multiple recording deal setbacks and his songwriting contract about to expire, Aldean was on the verge of giving up on the music business. Then he attracted the attention of Broken Bow Records, who would assist him with releasing his debut album, Jason Aldean, in 2005. Since then, Aldean has released five albums and sixteen singles. His first 3 albums are certified platinum by the RIAA and the fourth is certified double platinum. How good will 2012's Night Train end up? Only time will tell.

Jason has been nominated for a number of awards and has won several including 5 ACM Awards, 2 CMA Awards, 7 American Country Awards, 2 Billboard Music Awards, 2 CMT Music Awards, and probably a few others which I have forgotten.
