Jennifer Hudson is a recording artist, actress, and spokesperson.  Probably known best for her role as Effie White in the 2006 film version of the Broadway musical, Dreamgirls, Hudson also gained some popularity in 2004 as one of the finalists on the third season of American Idol, ultimately coming in seventh place.  As a result of Dreamgirls, Hudson won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, an NAACP Image Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Her debut album, Jennifer Hudson, finally materialized on Arista in September 2008, led by the Top Ten R&B/Hip-Hop single, "Spotlight".  In 2011, Hudson delivered her sophomore studio-album titled, Remember Me, featuring the R. Kelly-penned single, "Where You At".
