Ed Huckfeldt, director of entertainment marketing at the Venetian has taken to Twitter and Youtube to find the funny and with Loni Love they landed a laugh a minute or less guaranteed.  Currently Love hosts Fox’s daytime show The Real.  At other times Loni has the Carmen San Diego attitude and if you want to see her trust me she is coming to your part of the world soon.  With her own style and endearing qualities about her Loni Love is one of the most recognized faces on television today.  Author, comic, electrical engineer extraordinaire Love is one act you do not want to miss. 

You can get your Loni Love Lipshtick: The Perfect Shade of Stand Up tickets here.  Born in Detroit, MI and grew up in the Brewster-Douglass Housing Projects, Loni started her career as an electrical engineer, working for a time for GM putting doors on 1993 Olds Cutlasses.  Loni discovered her interest in stand up when she won a $50 competition while attending Prairie View A&M University in Texas.  While working for Xerox in California, she continued doing stand-up after work in clubs and became a regular at the Laugh Factory.  Not starting her full-time comedy career until 2004 after appearing on Star Search and reaching the finals to sadly not go home with 1^st.  Love made sure that has not happened again. .  In 2008 Love became the CNN correspondent for D.L. Hughley Breaks the News and she covered the inauguration of President Barack Obama.  She was named “Hot Comic” for 2009 in Campus Activity magazine and was one of the “Top 10 Comics to Watch” in both Variety and Comedy Central.  The woman we all know as America’s sister is taking world by storm and you can see her this year here in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada.
