Lewis Capaldi Tickets

Lewis Capaldi was born on October 7 of 1996 in Glasgow, Scotland. The scottish singer and songwriter began his music career at age 9, when he began singing in the local pubs. From then Lewis began uploading to his SoundCloud account, which helped his manager discover him. 

In October of 2017 he released his debut EP Bloom EP in October 2017. This record included the tracks “Bloom” and “Mercy.” His single “Bloom” became one of the most streamed single by an unsigned artist. A few months later he was signed with Capitol Records. 

After the release of his EP, Lewis began opening for artists such as Rag’n’Bone, Milky Chance and Niall Horan. He then opened for Sam Smith’s The Thrill of It All Europe Tour, which was followed by his very first headlining European tour which included multiple music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Firefly and TRNSMT. On November 8 of 2018, Lewis released his second EP titled Breach, which included “Tough,” “Grace,” and “Someone You Loved.” Lewis has made history in becoming the first ever artist in history to announce and sell out an arena tour before the official release of his debut album. He has also become the first scottish solo artist since 1981 to have his single (“Someone You Loved”) to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. 

Lewis the recipient of multiple awards such as the Breakthrough Artist presented by the Great Scot Awards, the Brand New for 2019 presented by MTV and the Grammy nomination for Song of the Year 2020.
