Josh Turner signed to MCA Nashville Records in 2003 and his hit single “Long Black Train” was his breakthrough single release.  Josh is considered a contemporary country music singer and his voice has been compared to the likeness of Randy Travis, both having the same deep, sad yet sensual sound that just resonates in every song either man sings.  His sophomore album, Your Man brought Turner his first two number one hits: “Your Man” and “Would You Go with Me”.  His next release came in 2007’s Everything is Fine this album gave Turner a number 2 in “Firecracker”.  Haywire, released in 2010, accounted for his next two number 1 hits in “Why Don’t We Just Dance” and “All Over Me” both earning critical acclaim.  2012 was a stellar year for Turner he released, Punching Bag whose lead single “Time is Love” was called the biggest hit of 2012 according to Billboard Year-End.  Also in 2012, Josh released Live Across America, that album was comprised of twelve songs recorded live in concert in different cities and was distributed through Cracker Barrel.  Fans are very excited as Turner recently released the lead single from his upcoming sixth studio album, “Lay Low” to country radio on September 1, 2015.  It was met with the “Taste of Country Critic’s Pick” by Taste of Country’s Carrie Horton, who said “with honest lyrics and a perfectly straightforward melody, ‘Lay Low’ touches on all the things that make fans love country music”.  Josh Turner puts on a dynamic, high energy show that demands to be seen.
