The U.S. leg of Iron Maiden’s tour starts in June and will take them all across the United States to some new places Iron Maiden has not toured before. One of the most highly-anticipated stops on the tour will be the Las Vegas show at the T-Mobile Arena. Just west of the Las Vegas strip, people will be coming from all over to enjoy this show, and then enjoy all the rest that wonderful Las Vegas has to offer.
The T-Mobile Arena opened to the public just last year as a joint venture between MGM Resorts and the Anschutz Entertainment Group. Construction began back in 2014 and the T-Mobile name was added in early 2016. In the short time that it has been opened, the T-Mobile Arena has come to be one of the top sports and entertainment venues in Las Vegas. From boxing matches, to the Miss USA pageant and everything in between, the T-Mobile Arena serves as home to a wide variety of events. It is obvious why Iron Maiden has chosen this arena as one of the Book of Souls Tour stops.
You can expect this Iron Maiden show at the T-Mobile arena to be unlike any other. Able to hold up to 20,000 concert-goers, this arena will be full of life on July 3. They will be bringing with them to the T-Mobile arena their entire production including all the Eddies and their Maya-themed sets. Because fans have loved the theme of this tour, they are going to give fans more of what they want in Las Vegas.
Also, the location of the T-Mobile Arena has made it a very successful event center. It is right on the Las Vegas Strip and close to other very exciting things Las Vegas has to offer.
The main purpose behind this tour of Iron Maiden’s is to continue promotion of one of their best albums, The Book of Souls. Highly-praised by many as the album that put Iron Maiden back into the world of rock, the feedback on this challenging album has been enough to keep Iron Maiden touring it and enough to keep them selling out shows. In addition to playing a great deal off of their Book of Souls album, Iron Maiden will of course be including some of their favorites that garnered them the rock status they so proudly own today.
Last round of The Book of Souls tour, Iron Maiden flew from show to show in their very own Iron Maiden Book of Souls Tour Boeing airplane. Chances are good we will be seeing them fly this plane into Las Vegas in July.
