Garfunkel & Oates - Comedy Tickets

Actresses and songwriting partners Kate Micucci and Riki Lindhome make up the duo Garfunkel and Oates.  They’re an American comedy-folk duo from Los Angeles, CA.  Performing together since 2007 when they met at Upright Citizens Brigade theatre in Los Angeles.  They named their group after the “two famous rock-and-roll second bananas” Art Garfunkel and John Oates.  Performing together and touring across the country to sell out shows these two are out and out hilarious.  They were named one of the top 10 Comics to Watch by Variety.  Both albums that were released by the ladies, “Slippery When Moist” and “All Over Your Face” hit #1 on iTunes comedy charts.  The duo has one shtick where one uses a guitar and one a ukulele. You can get your Garfunkel and Oates Lipshtick: A Perfect Shade of Stand Up tickets here.  IFC network premiered Garfunkel and Oates the show in late 2014.  It was an eight-episode half-hour show featuring the ladies.  Last year Garfunkel and Oates was listed on New Media Rockstars Top 100 Channels, ranking in at #81.  HBO decided not to go through with a pilot for their own show, which was described as GLEE with dirty jokes.  Introduced to one another by comic Doug Benson while at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles.  Their first work together was a short film made by Lindhome, where “Imaginary Larry” was made into a musical.  They hit is off immediately and began working together.  These two women are hilarious, entertaining, and you can count on an evening filled with nothing but laughter and enjoyment that is a high energy, bubbly all around good time.
