The only all-female comedy stand-up routine in the city spotlights a rotation of some of the top female comics in the country.  Venetian President John Caparela said his wife came to him in support of the idea when she noticed the mostly all men comics performing all over this city. This show puts the ladies all under one roof all under one brand making it easier than ever to come out and enjoy.  The freshest face in the troupe is the loveable Southern Belle Fortune Feimster who moved to Los Angeles in 2003 after graduating college and then backpacking all over Europe for a year she landed in LA with $25 in her pocket and slept on a friends couch for a month. In 2005 she began taking improve and sketch classes at the Groundlings Theatre as a way to make friends.  After four years of intense training she was selected to be in the Groundlings prestigious Sunday Company where she performed a new sketch every week for a year-and-a-half.  She soon made her debut on national TV on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” where she finished as a finalist. She had auditioned twice during that time for “Saturday Night Live” however it would be Chelsea Handler who would give Feimster her next big break.  Fortune is currently a full time writer and performer for Handler on E! Networks show “Chelsea Lately” and she is also a main cast member on their scripted series “After Lately.”  She has so many candles burning there is fear she may burn down the entire entertainment industry.  This lady is on fire!
