Falling in Reverse founder and lead singer Ronnie Radke’s relationship with the city of Las Vegas has been tempestuous at best. He grew up in Sin City, discovering a love of hardcore metal music and drugs at the same time. Ultimately, a troubled history with the law and a series of poor decisions led to a stint in prison. However, out of the chaos and destructive behavior he emerged with a new band and they are returning to Sin City with Falling in Reverse tickets to play the House of Blues Las Vegas on November 30, 2012 in the midst of a tour that is both highly anticipated for the group’s fans and incredibly cathartic for the front man.

Everything about this project is about Radke’s past. He founded the group after his former band, Escape the Fate, dropped him following his incarceration and the touring limitations the time behind bars caused. Radke became a free man in 2010 only to discover his former band mates had accused him of using heroin while in the prison system. Thus, Falling in Reverse, originally named From Behind These Walls, came into being.

Now the group is on the verge of releasing its second album following a great run on the 2012 Warped tour. Then they were still singing the hit songs from the debut album The Drug in Me is You. Now, Radke and Falling in Reverse have announced the The Thug in Me Is You Tour. From October to December this hardcore metalcore quintet are traversing the United States as a headliner.

Much has been heard about this second album, though no name has been confirmed. It is a pretty safe assumption the name will be The Thug in Me Is You though. Radke has hinted at the musical direction of this new recording. Lyrically, the songs stem from strained relationships. Radke uses Falling in Reverse to vent his frustrations with his mother, his former band, and the city of Las Vegas. This is not going to be an album about love and redemption, but one about facing the past and the at times scornful lyrics are driven by a man inspired by early Eminem, a rapper who arrived with a chip on his shoulder. Radke has one those as well, and he takes them on through this album and the subsequent live performances. The Falling in Reverse Las Vegas tickets will be the best of the concert schedule, as he arrives home to prove he has overcome any and all challenges and challengers.
