Nevada Ballet Theater Tickets

Ballet season is now upon Las Vegas as tickets are currently on sale for performances by the Nevada Ballet Theatre.  The organization is the largest professional ballet company and dance academy in the state and is also a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and inspire nation-wide audiences.

Kicking off the season is a rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream Act 1 & Seasons.  Complete with a live orchestra, experience change through relationships and nature in Paul Vasterling’s Seasons, set to Antonio Vivaldi’s masterpiece, “The Four Seasons” and then, with George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream Act I.  Shakespeare’s classic comedy of young lovers, mischievous spells and mistaken identities is transformed into a beautiful ballet featuring Felix Mendelssohn, which includes over 20 dancers from the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre. 

A Choreographers' Showcase is next on the roster and has been described as “joyous, experimental and vibrant” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal; this is a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Nevada Ballet Theatre and the artists of Cirque du Soleil®.

Then, get into the holiday spirit with The Nutcracker, a holiday favorite amongst individuals old and young; featuring a live orchestra and larger-than-life landscapes, this production has been named “the most visually beautiful production ever staged in Reynolds Hall” by the Las Vegas Sun.  Artistic Director James Canfield will transform the theater into a winter wonderland as Clara and her Nutcracker Prince dance along the borderline of imagination and reality.

Following is the one night only: A Gala Performance, which is a collection of mesmerizing performances introducing a variety of works and special guest artists not to be missed. Following is The Studio Series only available to season subscribers for an inside view of the artistic process, which will be an up close and personal collection of original pieces. Conclude the season with an interpretation of Giselle, which is one of ballet’s most celebrated works since its 1841 premiere.
