Charlie Wilson R and B singer was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma during January of 1953. This producer, singer, and songwriter performs in numerous genres. They include hip hop, soul, funk, rhythm and blues, and quiet storm. This popular musician plays the drums, organ, and keyboards.

Since he became active in the industry in 1967, he's been involved with many projects. Among them are the Gap Band, where he was the lead vocalist. He's also associated with Babyface, Keith Sweat, Will.i.am, Justin Timberlake, R. Kelly, Snoop Dogg, and Kanye West.

One of his personal missions involves support for soldiers in the U. S. Military. He is especially focused on supporting those who are stationed in the Middle East. During 2009, 2010 and 2011, he toured Iraq and Kuwait. He performed for troops at dozens of bases in both countries. During 2008, he was among those who performed for the special television broadcast of America United, Supporting Our Troops. It was filmed at Camp Pendleton, a Marine Corps base in San Diego County.

Since 1992, this artist has released five albums. Each one has ranked on the top Rhythm and Blues charts. They include his first release, "You Turn My Life Around", "Bridging the Gap" (November, 2000), "Charlie, Last Name Wilson" (August, 2005), "Uncle Charlie" (February, 2009), and "Just Charlie" (December, 2010). He has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, and received many industry honors.

Since 1985, he has been collaborating with a variety of fellow artists. He's contributed to more than 37 notable projects, including three albums released during 2011. They include Boyz II Men "Twenty", Kanye West and Jay-Z "That's My Bitch", and New Boyz "Beautiful Dancer". The preceding year, his collaborations included seven Kanye West projects.

Charlie Wilson R and B singer continues to tour globally. His 2011 schedule includes shows in North Carolina, Texas, Georgia, and Nevada. His Nevada shows will be held at the Las Vegas Hilton.
