Tracy Morgan is back and bringing his wild and crazy antics to the stage at The Terry Fator Theater inside the opulent Mirage Hotel and Casino. Fans can see Morgan May 6 and 7th when the comedian and actor Tracy Morgan becomes part of the “2016 Kings of Comedy” series this spring. Best known for his seven seasons he starred on “30 Rock” with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as Tracy Jordan, the unpredictable star of Liz Lemon’s (Fey) hit variety show, “TGS with Tracy Jordan.” For which ge won many awards for his time with 30 Rock including the 2009 award Screen Actors Guild Award for “Outspoken Performances by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series” that he and the whole cast won. He also won a National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications Vision Award for his role on 30 Rock, a Golden Nymph award, and he received his first Emmy award nomination for his role on the show that ran from 2006-2013. Before that Morgan spent eight years as a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” his other notable appearances have included “Where My Dogs At?,” “Mind of Mencia,” “The Tracy Morgan Show,” “3rd Rock from the Sun,” and “Martin.” His movie credits include “Rio,” “Cop Out,” “Death at a Funeral,” “Superhero Movie,” “The Longest Yard,” “Are We There Yet?,” “Head of State,” “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” “30 Years to Life,” and “Half Baked.” Morgan added author to the list recently when he co-authored “I Am the New Black” with Rolling Stone writer Anthony Bozza. Many fans remember in 2014 when Morgan suffered a traumatic brain injury and had to spend the last year in rehab and treatment and we were all so relieved when he hosted a “Saturday Night Live” episode this last October 2015 and is now returning to the stage; exactly where he belongs with the other “Kings of Comedy”!
