Changes Coming to the Las Vegas Strip

Some major changes are coming to the world famous Las Vegas Strip in terms of headlining shows as well as more renovations and additions to make Las Vegas even better, if that’s possible. We recently found out that Jabbawockeez are bringing their dynamic mix of out of this world choreography, music and special effects to MGM Grand starting this fall. The sensational dancing group will be performing in the newly renovated 350-seat theater known as Beacher’s Madhouse, currently occupied by the outrageously funny Vegas showman Jeff Beacher. Also making a move this year is the Blue Man Group they will be leaving the Monte Carlo and returning to the property where their ship first landed, The Luxor! The new venue at the Luxor will allow the Blue Man group to transform their already unbelievable show into a custom experience built to maximize the entertainment and take it to a whole new level. With the action, lights, contraptions and ongoing spectacle that is Blue Man Group this new venue brings them closer to the audience than ever before. They have plans to build an approximately 5,000-seat theater at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino that will anchor the dynamic new entertainment district that it will be adjacent to, The Park and the 20,000-seat arena currently under construction. The new entertainment district will feature a broad and exciting calendar of special shows by a variety of the industry’s most-recognized names. Seating in the new venue is supposed to offer easy transformations into multiple configurations that will reflect the flexibility and versatility of the space. The park and arena are expected to open in April of 2016, the Monte Carlo theater is hoping to see its first act by the end of 2016.
