The Bunkhouse is back!! Don’t miss their re-opening night on August 25th with the guitar-heavy indie rockers Built to Spill!
After closing last summer for renovations, the venue has announced their first few shows. On September 15 the iconic and one of a kind 90’s band The Breeders will be performing and perhaps they will play their hit song Cannonball! Next on the roster is R&B-influenced singer Allen Stone on September 27, followed by former Husker Du/Sugar front man Bob Mould on September 30, and electro hip-hop DJ-producer RJD2 on November 21.
The western style neighborhood dive bar originally opened in 1953 and grew to become a great place for emerging indie rock bands and smaller touring national acts to get noticed. Since the overhaul, the saloon now has a brand new ceiling and exterior wall, as well as an extended the length of the building accommodating a new kitchen, new stage and a state-of-the-art Meyer Sound System!
Be sure to catch your favorite bands as they perform in the revamped venue you have grown to know and love!
