Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas April 7th

Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas will take place on 7th April. As the country music world prepares for one of its biggest and most coveted nights in Hollywood, this 54th annual event will happen live at the MGM’s Grand Garden Arena.

The 2019’s Awards will feature performances by renowned entertainment superstars as well as up and coming artists in the country music world. Academy of the Country Music Awards which is also known as ACM Awards first happened in 1966. The event was initially started to honor the accomplishment of country music artists in the previous year. Subsequent events were held in the next coming years until the awards’ signature trophy which features a “hat” was designed in 1986. In 2003, the “hat” design was upgraded into something sleeker and more modern.

ACM Awards has continuously undergone new changes, ensuring that the event keeps up with the pace of the modern changing world. The organizing body implemented an online voting system for professional members in 2004, which made it the first type of televised awards show to use that type of voting system.

This year’s ACM Awards is going to be full of exciting surprises, unrivaled collabos, and amazing performances. These awards are expected to be magical as 2018 was an epic year for most artists thanks to the amazing music collaborations and the emergence of new artists. With so many talented artists, it’s very difficult to predict who will make it in the nominees’ list. There are lots of new fresh faces and big names who have consistently provided us with nothing but the best hits.

The ceremony which will begin at 2000 hrs. ET will be aired as a live event on the CBS. Although the complete list of full nominees, as well as performers, hasn’t been released yet, the 2019 nominees for the Radio Awards include WYCT FM, KUBL FM, Kuzz FM, KORA FM, WYCD FM, and WMIL FM.

The 2018 ACM Awards was hosted by Reba McEntire although it’s still unclear if she will continue with this tradition and host this year’s event.
