Caesar’s Palace located in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada will be unveiling the newly renovated 587-room Julius Tower, formerly the 567-room Roman Tower, it will feature new designs, sleek, modern rooms and suites, hip décor, stone accents, and extravagant Roman-inspired artwork, making every guest feel like royalty. The renovations were completed just in time for the 50th anniversary since Caesar’s Palace first opened. With the Golden anniversary fast approaching guests are excited about the unveiling of the Julius Tower whose name is paying homage to Julius Caesar, the hotel’s namesake. Julius Tower rooms will still offer the same great views of the strip the previous tower offered. The main renovations were made to upgrade the already existing rooms available and add 20 more rooms to the tower. The $75-million project is expected to welcome its first guests January 1, 2016 with rates starting around $200 a night. Designed by Michael Medeiros of KNA Design, the classically inspired yet modern interior of the new Julius Tower rooms combine a soothing neutral palette combined with a refreshing splash of freesia yellow and a bit of Aegean blue. The combination and textures and calming colors create a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle and excitement going on beneath you on the casino floor. The focal point of each room will be the custom-upholstered headboard incorporating bronze framed mirror panels that add sparkle while opening the space up making it more inviting. Also upgraded and included in each room are the 55” TV’s, luxurious Beautyrest Bouvet Island Mattresses, a mini bar, English-themed Gilchrist & Soames toiletries and amenities. The rooms’ entry and bathroom are inlayed with a two-toned stone pattern and the bathroom feature a double sink floating vanity. A stone shower with glass enclosed features two sides of glass and offers both handheld shower and shower head. Some rooms offer a custom-designed chaise lounge inspired by a Greek Klismos chair, all rooms feature custom artwork that combines photographs of roman statues with artistic hand drawn costumes meant to inspire the notion of a Caesars Palace themed Vegas “show girl”.
