The Elvis Theater inside the Aria Resort and Casino is a 1,800-seat theater that now is home to the hit Cirque du Soleil rock opera show Zarkana formerly the home of the Elvis tribute show titled “Viva Elvis” at Aria celebrating the life and music of Elvis Presley.  The show premiered on February 17, 2010 and ran through the fall of 2012, the show included music, singers, dancers, acrobats and multimedia components paying tribute to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.   Cirque du Soleil’s Gold Lounge inside the Aria Resort & Casino is 3,756 feet of pure Elvis, the design and décor resembles Graceland with black and gold being utilized throughout.  The bar has the same shape as Elvis’ bar in Graceland as well the music being played varies from Classic Rock, lots of Elvis remixes, minimal hip hop, Top 40 and some pop.  The shows at Aria are brought to you by Cirque du Soleil, CKX, Inc. and Elvis Presley Enterprises.  The Aria Resort and Casino is tallest structure at CityCenter as well as having 4,004 guest room and suites, 16 restaurants, 10 bars and nightclubs and a casino with 150,000 sq ft of gaming space, a spa and a salon that covers two floors with a coed balcony attached to the spa overlooks an outdoor infinity pool,  and a 300,000 sq ft convention center.  The convention center includes four ballrooms three of which have fully functioning theatrical stages, 38 meeting rooms and a three-story 400 ft long window overlooking the pool.  Artwork throughout the lobby and interior includes pieces including “Lumia” a lighted water feature that syncs burst of water to music, there is an 87 foot reclaimed silver sculpture of the Colorado River called Silver River which resulted in Aria being the largest hotel in the world to have received LEED Gold certification.
