 Tool's music can be described as metal, progressive rock, artsy, death, thrash, post-punk and a little bohemian. There are a lot of ways to describe their meaty rich music yet none of them really capture the chaotic structure and dark lyricism of Tool's art. Seeing this band perform in a large venue and in front of a wall of speakers is the only way to go. If you can't physically feel it, then the Tool is not loud enough.
