With so much happening in the United States right now you know that she will come equipped with an arsenal of political, racial and sex jokes and observations. Sarah Silverman is a professional comedian with a solid performance which leaves audiences laughing and/or offended. Her comedy routines are definitely an R rated show and not fit for the kids and perhaps grandma or your conservative aunt, but if you are not easily offended and looking to be entertained then watching her live is definitely for you.
Sarah Silverman in Vegas in 2016! The JAP (Jewish American Princess), is a famous stand up comedian that will have you bent over laughing while somewhat offended. She has worked on Saturday Night Live, has won two Primetime Emmy Awards and in 2015 she was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Lead Role.
As a comedian her fame came from her Jesus Is Magic tour, in Los Angeles. Her jokes and funny observations included taboo/politically incorrect humor for example the The Holocaust and the September 11th terrorist attacks. She was described by Entertainment Weekly as “a bomb-tossing jester in the blasphemous-and-proud-of-it tradition of Lenny Bruce and Howard Stern,” Variety magazine wrote that Sarah Silverman is the “love child of Lenny Bruce and Sandra Bernhard.”
Sarah Silverman has performed in Vegas before, but this time it is different.
Past Sarah Silverman in Vegas Shows
Sarah was first in Vegas in 2006, when her career was starting to take off. Well at least that’s the way it seemed. Little did many people know that her career has already taken off and that she was a rising star.
Back in 2006, Silverman’s comedy was based around a persona she developed. Her character was a self-centered Jewish-American Princess (JAP), that was a bit airheaded, that unintentionally said horrible things. From arrogant statements, to racist comments, to politically incorrect humor, this pretty, young comedian would make people laugh while cringing.
She returned to Vegas in 2013 no longer stuck in her JAP character, but still hilarious. Her outlandish comedy roused crowds at the Pearl Concert Theater of the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

Sarah Silverman’s Famous Quotes
Sarah has said some really funny stuff over the years. Just so that you get a gist of what you are in for I have found some of Sarah’s most memorable quotes:
This one’s from Twitter:
“Good News, if you’re not a bitch people will quit going against you!”
These are two from her stand up:
“Women do not ask to be violated, however there are those that are screaming to be motorboated”, “I was going to go get an abortion a few days ago, but as it turns out, I was just thirsty.
When she was on the Bill Maher Show:
“People who say they are divas…are really not divas, they’re just cunts.”
These two quotes are from her autobiography The Bedwetter:
“I'm compassionate when it comes to nun’s violence against children. If I had sacrificed my sex life for a guy who I had to blindly believe in, in spite of the fact that I had never seen him around, I would probably be hitting kids too.”
