In 2008, Rock in Rio Solar School: 400 solar panels were installed in 20 Portuguese schools, this project won the Energy Global Award for 2009. Also in 2008, 300 buses were made available for pulic transportation. This is not your everyday concert.  These people are on a mission to change the world through music and it seems to be working.
