Jay Mohr is an American actor, stand-up comedian, and radio host.  He's known for his roles as Professor Rick Payne in the TV series Ghost Whisperer, the title role in the CBS sitcom Gary Unmarried, as a featured player for two seasons on Saturday Night Live, and as sports agent Bob Sugar in Jerry Maguire.

As a boy, Mohr dreamed of becoming a comedian.  By the time he was a young adult, he had fulfilled that dream, first finding popularity in stand-up comedy and then making his way to television and feature films.  Early in his career, he gained recognition for his uncanny and hilarious impressions, particularly for that of stony Christopher Walken.

Mohr has written two books. The first in 2004 titled, Gasping for Airtime: Two Years in the Trenches of Saturday Night Live and the second in 2010, No Wonder My Parents Drank: Tales from a Stand-Up Dad.  As of early January, 2013, Mohr is the host of Jay Mohr Sports, a daily midday sports radio talk show on Fox Sports Radio.
