Fun. (sometimes shown as fun. or .fun) is an American indie pop band.  Formed by Nate Ruess after the breakup of his former band, he was joined by Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff of Anathallo and Steel Train respectively.  So far, Fun has released two albums: the band's debut Aim and Ignite (2009) and their latest Some Nights (2012).

They are best known for thier hit single "We Are Young" featuring Janelle Monae.  "We Are Young" reached number one on the U.S. Billboard ot 100 and Digital Songs charts.  It became the first rock/alternative song to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart since Coldplay's "Viva la Vida" in 2008.
