     Father John Misty as Joshua Tillman or J. Tillman is known as a folk singer, songwriter, guitarist, and drummer who is a solo artist.  He has been putting out solo records steadily since being a former member of indie rock bands Saxon Shore and Fleet.  Father John Misty released the album Fear Fun in 2012.  His music is considered to be a varying mix of indie rock, experimental rock, psychedelic rock, post-rock, and folk rock and he has played on a variety of different labels.  As Father John Misty, Joshua has released only two albums so far, Fear Fun (2012) and I Love You, Honeybear (2015).  He has collaborated with and featured on Kid Cudi’s 2013 album, Indicud.  His New Winter album release was considered to be a hoax with made up reviews by the Wall Street Journal, and Spin as a marketing strategy which shows Tillman’s unique sense of humor and as he says about his name and his style, “You either get it or you don’t.”  Father John Misty takes the stage with an ease and calm that relaxes the whole room and opens everyone up to the vibe he is trying to create with his folksy story telling lyrics that captures your interest and carries you along for the length of the song.  His creativity and skilled vocal talent combined with his exceptional guitar playing abilities make for an exceptional show of unequaled talent that will keep you entertained and interested, and sometimes amused by his antics.
