The Hard Times Tour has expanded from the fall of 2012 and into the winter of 2013. Before beginning these new concert dates in the New Year, Social Distortion will be embarking on a little House of Blues leg that has the group hitting up House of Blues locations in multiple cities on multiple nights. Two of these nights will be Social Distortion tickets for the Las Vegas location on December 20 and 21, 2012.

All this has been done in honor the legendary alternative rock group’s return. Everyone else was making a comeback a couple of years ago and Social Distortion had that itch that tends to reunite bands that were at one time the voice of a generation. They came back with Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, an album that brought back the imaginary characters that had helped make the band a success initially. This runs counter to modern thought as it was the lead singer’s attempt to delve deeper into his dark psyche that doomed the last album and resulted in a long hiatus. Bringing back a cast of characters fitting for a film noir brought back the fans and made the critics happy and led to a two year tour.

After the end of Social D’s comeback tour, Mike Ness, Jonny Wickersham, Brent Harding, and David Hidalgo, Jr. will be beginning the process over again. They will begin by writing new material before heading into the studio to record the follow up to Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. Initially this was expected to begin with the New Year, but recent additions to the schedule are pushing back the start date on this new album about a month.

A month is not too long and the fans living in the cities with the House of Blues locations will not mind the postponement. This includes fans, some of whom may be residents and some of whom may be visiting, who cannot wait to celebrate their music once again with Social Distortion tickets for this love show in Las Vegas.
