Las Vegas has just about everything, from recreations of the world’s greatest wonders and cities to superstars in residents. All it was missing was a music festival of massive proportions. Now, it has the iHeartRadio Music Festival, a show comprised of the biggest hits on the radio. Specifically, iHeartRadio Music Festival tickets are a chance to see those artists featured on the Internet radio platform.

The show has been staged at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on the Las Vegas Strip every September since 2011. The 2012 performance included something for every genre, which is fitting since the Internet station is both a music recommender and an actual radio platform. Thus, it is the next step of Pandora, and it brought Taylor Swift and the Pistol Annies for country fans, Bon Jovi and Aerosmith for classic rock enthusiasts, Pitbull and DeadMau5 for club fans, and many more. Green Day was perhaps the biggest name this time around, or at least the most promoted.

There were a few surprises too. Including a performance by the Jonas Brothers and an angry rant from the aforementioned Green Day once they discovered their set time had been cut in half. The Jonas Brothers had been hinting at a reunion and this performance only confirmed Joe, Kevin, and Nick will be making a comeback. Green Day’s Billie Jo Armstrong and Mike Dirnt smashed their instruments, though they did offer an apology the next day. With a list of performers this successful there will be at least a few hiccups, but ultimately the iHeartRadio Musical Festival will be among the best massive shows every year.

There has already been interest expressed in both iHeartRadio tickets for the Vegas music festival in 2013 by fans and for lineup spots by groups. These singers and bands are excited by the opportunity to perform before thousands in a fantastic celebration of popular music. Once again, the Internet radio station is expected to use the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The venue holds 16,800 and will gladly host another couple of nights of the biggest weekend concert event in Since City.
