Cirque du Soleil - Viva Elvis Tickets

All the live singers are female. The only male voice featured during this performance is Presley's. The creators said this decision was made because the only voice which can accurately portray his seductive charm and vitality is his own. Presley's voice was isolated from prior recordings and re-mixed for this production. In addition to four female singers, the musical cast includes a percussionist, trumpeter, saxophonist, trombonist, pianist, bassist, drummer, and two guitarists.

The costumes were designed by Stefano Canulli. They were inspired by Presley's films, concerts, entourage, and everyday life. They incorporate more than 1500 components, including 150 wigs and 450 pairs of shoes. The wigs were crafted from urethane foam, and designed to reflect elements of a Japanese comic strip. More than 100,000 crystals were used to ornament the costumes. About 400 costumes were created for this production.

The elaborate sets were designed by Mark Fisher. The color scheme is based on gold. This color was chosen because of its symbolic association with wealth and kings, as well as its representation of Presley's numerous gold records. The stage floor and curtain are adorned with multiple golden discs. The opening scene features a huge jukebox which measures 22-by-70 feet. It has a large, 50-foot video screen.

Cirque du Soleil Viva Elvis in Las Vegas production celebrates the life of this American icon. It features many of the artist's most notable songs, including "Jailhouse Rock", "Viva Las Vegas", "Blue Suede Shoes", "Return to Sender", "Don't Be Cruel", and "All Shook Up". The show generally runs Tuesday through Saturday nights.
