The Cirque du Soleil The Beatles Love in Las Vegas show celebrates the fascinating legacy of these international music icons. Inspired by the group's poetic lyrics, the show explores the songs through a series of imaginary and real people. An international cast features 60 performers who fuse aerial acrobatics, extreme sports, and freestyle and urban dance. The show's soundscape was crafted by Sir George and Giles Martin.

This production is being presented in the Love Theater at the Mirage Resort and Casino on The Strip. The custom-built theater can accommodate 2,013 guests. Each seat is equipped with a set of three speakers, including one in the headrest. The theater has 6,341 speakers. Two walls elevated above the audience are equipped with huge projection screens. In addition, four translucent screens are unfurled from the ceiling during the performance.

All the characters were inspired by the group's music. They include Doctor Robert (host), Father McKenzie, Eleanor Rigby, groupies, the kids of Liverpool, the Fool, Lady Madonna, Mr. Piggy, Lucy and the firemen, Walrus-Eggman, Sugar Plum Fairy, Nowhere Men, Teddy Boys, Sgt. Pepper, nurses, and sailors. The character of Krishna unites the sounds and cultures of the West and the East. Julia evokes the mother of John Lennon, and Her Majesty reflects the pride of the Nation and is often presented in a big oval frame.

Known as a contemporary circus, the company launched the production in June of 2006. The debut was attended by Sir George Martin, Sir Paul McCartney, Dhani Harrison, Yoko Ono, Julian Lennon, Olivia Harrison, Cynthia Lennon, and Ringo Starr. The group gathered again at the Mirage one year later, on the show's anniversary. During anniversary celebrations, they unveiled a memorial plaque to honor George Harrison and John Lennon.
