Cirque du Soleil KA in Las Vegas is a spectacular performance based on the heroic adventures of imperial twins. It is presented on a custom-built, colossal stage at the MGM Grand Casino and Resort. Located on the Strip, this resort complex is the largest in the United States, and the second largest in the world. This property features the county's largest casino, numerous restaurants, nightclubs, shops, an arena, five outdoor pools, waterfalls, and rivers.

The elaborate costumes, scenic elements and theatrical landscape were inspired by a diversity of global cultures. Heavily influenced by martial arts, this epic story follows the twins' perilous journey as they are challenged by the forces of evil. The production features a captivating display of gravity-defying acrobatics. In addition, engaging puppetry, stunning projections, a dynamic soundtrack, and Capoeira dance are incorporated into the presentation.

Capoeira dance is a Brazilian form of art which incorporates martial arts, sports, and music. It is characterized by powerful kicks, head-butts, punches, elbow and knee strikes, take-downs, quick leg sweeps, and aerial acrobatics. It was developed in the 1500s by the descendants of African slaves.

The twins are brother and sister. They are inseparable companions on the verge of adulthood. Among the other characters are their fearsome adversaries, the spear-men and archers. In addition, the chief archer's daughter, the counselor and his son, nursemaid, court jester, firefly boy, valets, mountain tribe folks, and forest people are among the other cast members.

The theater, seating, sets, and costumes are fully customized. Each seat has a comfortable head-rest which is equipped with built-in speakers. The sand for the beach scene was created from 350 cubic feet of granular cork imported from Portugal. Each of the human-sized crab puppets required about 1300 hours to create.

Cirque du Soleil KA in Las Vegas is a spectacular show suitable for all ages. In addition to comfortable seating, the elaborate theater features state-of-the-art audiovisual systems. Two performances are presented Tuesday through Saturday evenings.
