Hailing from the state of West Virginia, Brad Paisley has garnered worldwide attention for being a prominent country western music performer. Born in 1972, he learned to play the guitar as a child after his grandfather gave him his first guitar. By the time he graduated college, he was well on his way to a professional musical career.

In fact, he credits his grandfather and local hometown for encouraging his musical talent. After he received his guitar, his family signed him up for lessons with a local musician. He wrote his first song when he was twelve and formed his first band, along with his music teacher and some friends, shortly after writing that first song.

After he earned a degree in music business from Belmont University in Tennessee, he began to appear in professional musical venues. It was through these appearances that he met and began working with his professional music team, including his producer.

It was also through his professional associations that he met his wife, actress Kimberly Williams. They dated for nine months before marrying. They now have two sons, one of whom is named after his grandfather.

His songs have performed well on the industry's performance charts. His duet with violinist and fellow performer Allison Kraus, entitled "Whiskey Lullaby", earned him fans from all musical genres, including those who normally like pop and rock and roll music. He also has written and released songs that speak of humor and everyday life, such as the song called "Alcohol" and "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song)".

Brad Paisley has earned a reputation as being an entertaining and compelling artist. His critics note that he adds humor and social relevance to some of his singles. He also has performed duets with other industry artists. When he is not performing, he spends his time with his wife and sons.
