The popular Blondie musician group continues to perform at global venues. The iconic band was launched in New York City during 1974. Founded by Chris Stein (guitarist) and Debbie Harry (singer), they were instrumental in the evolution of the punk and new wave movements during the mid-1970s. Their productions span several genres, including punk, power pop, new wave, post-punk, pop rock and hip hop.

This pop band has released nine studio albums, and has been nominated for numerous Juno and Grammy Awards. The self-titled 1976 debut album was recorded at Plaza Sound Studios in New York. Its notable tracks include "X-Offender", and "In the Flesh". "Plastic Letters", the sophomore album, was launched during February of 1978.

The September 1978 release of "Parallel Lines" gained the group global notoriety. It featured several hits, including "Heart of Glass", and "One Way or Another". This album has been ranked among many all-time top album lists, including Rolling Stone magazine's top 500, Blender's top 100, and NME's best 100. The album has sold more than 20 million copies.

During 1979, the group released "Eat to the Beat", followed by "Autoamerican" in 1980. The 1982 release of "The Hunter" was the band's final project before its break-up in November of that year. Fifteen years later, the original five members reunited and began to perform at outdoor festivals. The re-formed and re-vitalized group released "No Exit" in 1999. It was followed-up by "The Curse of Blondie" in 2003, and "Panic of Girls" in 2011.

There are six current band members. In addition to Harry and Stein, they include Tommy Kessler (guitars), Matt Katz-Bohen (keyboards, organ, piano), Leigh Foxx (bass), and Clement (Clem) Burke (percussion, drums, back-up vocals). The former members include Paul Carbonara, Kevin Patrick, Eddie Martinez, Nigel Harrison, Frank Infante, Jimmy Destri, and Gary Valentine.

The Blondie musician group continues to perform to enthusiastic audiences at global venues. They have recently toured across the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the U.S.
