Indeed, the name, Iron Maiden was noted by Steve Harris to be pulled from the title of the film, The Man in the Iron Mask, which is an adaptation of an Alexandre Dumas novel. Their current band members include Steve Harris (bass, vocals, keyboards),

Michael Kenney is a touring musician with Iron Maiden who plays keyboards. Some past members of Iron Maiden include Doug Sampson (drums), Paul Di’Anno (lead vocals), Dennis Stratton (guitars, vocals), Clive Burr (drums) and Blaze Bayley (vocals).
They are considered in a class all by themselves when it comes to heavy metal bands that have had tremendous successes. Although Iron Maiden had many lineup changes, the group has held their own over the years.
